US Election 2024

Nebraska Election Results

Nebraska voters will cast ballots in races for president, both of the state’s US Senate seats, and the state’s three US House seats. In one of the Senate races, Republican Senator Deb Fischer is running for reelection against Dan Osborn, a candidate with no party affiliation, in a contest the Cook Political Report rates as “Likely Republican.” A special election for Nebraska’s other Senate seat is not expected to be competitive. The House race in Nebraska’s second district is described as “Leans Democratic.”

Voters will also decide on two competing ballot measures related to abortion, two measures related to marijuana use and production, and an initiative to provide annual paid sick leave.

Nebraska gives two electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins statewide, and one to the presidential candidate who receives the most votes in each of its three congressional districts.
