Manufacturing Industry
In this big election year in the US and around the world, manufacturing is an industry we're hearing a lot about. How much manufacturing will the US hold on to? Are jobs mostly moving to Asia? What has AI's impact on the industry been, and where is that expected to go? In the US, facets of the industry might surprise some—for example, most manufacturing companies in the country are small, according to the National Association of Manufacturers (three-quarters of US manufacturing firms have fewer than 20 employees). The industry attracted 513 MBA grads from 93 participating schools over the past year.
