Financial Industry
The financial services industry also ranks among the three most popular destinations for B-school grads. High salaries have historically been a key draw, realized in a variety of roles tailored for MBAs, from financial analysts to managers, personal financial advisers to investment analysts. Long-term demand for these jobs will be strong, according to projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which says business and financial occupations will grow faster than the average jobs between 2023 and 2033.
Financial services is the second best paid among 26 industries reported in survey data used for our Business School ROI calculator, with median compensation (salary plus bonus) of $204,177, or 20% more than the median for all fields.
