George Washington is number 56 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Washington-based school is known for having had several leaders who came from government, banking, and finance, which have strengthened the school’s expertise in areas such as bank supervision and financial management. Sevin Yeltekin, the school’s new dean, said in August when she stepped into the role, “Our location in the heart of Washington, D.C., combined with the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary programs, offers a powerful platform for preparing students to lead in an evolving global economy.”
