Hormuz Doubts Don’t Stop a Market Celebration

The idea that Iran could charge a toll on shipping would have been unthinkable a month ago.

It’s not clear that the ceasefire in Iran is such a good deal, or whether all parties are holding to it. It seems to enshrine the principle that Iran can charge ships to use an international waterway, which would have been dismissed as unconscionable a month ago. None of this has stopped global markets.
