Landing a First Job Is Hard. Labour Is Making It Worse

The chancellor of Oxford University, William Hague, recently noted that Britons in their 60s are the “luckiest generation” in history. Many of them enjoyed tuition-free university, affordable housing, generous pensions and early retirement.

The contrast with those trying to enter the workforce today could hardly be greater.
