The Women of OpenAI’s C-Suite Are Sending a Message

Denise Dresser, formerly head of Slack, is the latest woman to swap a CEO title for a job at OpenAI.

When Denise Dresser took on the role of chief revenue officer at OpenAI last week, she became the third woman to step down from a CEO job to join the executive team of the AI powerhouse.

In Dresser’s case, she was leaving the top job at Slack, owned by Salesforce Inc., to grow OpenAI’s enterprise business — a crucial position as the company looks to eventually turn a profit.
