Photographer: JANE BARLOW/AFPIn a surprise resignation that had echoes of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s withdrawal from public life last month, Nicola Sturgeon announced on Wednesday that after eight years of leading the Scottish National Party, she has had enough.
