As world financial leaders met in Washington this week, former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson gave us his analysis of what the war means for them and for us. Recognizing that it depends on “how long it’s going to take,” Paulson focused on “inflationary pressure,” saying “it’s not good for the US economy, but we will weather it better than anyone else.”
