A full year has passed since President Donald Trump put 25% tariffs on most of what Canada sells to the US. The policy that came into effect on March 4, 2025 did not last long: two days later, Trump signed an order exempting goods as long as they’re shipped under the rules of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
