Trump Won’t Call Tariffs a Mistake, But Most of Us Have Real Regrets

President Donald Trump delivered a State of the Union this week heavy on domestic issues, claiming the economy “is roaring like it’s never roared before.” Jason Furman of Harvard served as chair of President Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, and he doesn’t quite see it quite that way: “The year since Donald Trump became president economically was very similar to the year before he was president.”
