Iran and US High-Stakes Nuclear Talks Continue

Officials from the US and Iran began a third round of indirect nuclear talks in Switzerland today to try to prevent a new Middle East war, then broke for consultations.

Conversations will resume this evening, Iranian state TV reported. The two parties have been locked in a tense standoff over the Islamic Republic’s atomic activities for months, and are negotiating through Oman at its embassy in Geneva.
