Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems is ending the year on a victory lap. Not only is it one of European’s strongest renewable energy stocks, up more than 70% since January, the company’s shares are on track for their best year since 2020. It’s a currently the top performer in the Danish benchmark index, helping offset a plunge in Novo Nordisk.
