President Vladimir Putin said today that US President Donald Trump’s proposal to end Russia’s war in Ukraine could be the basis for agreements at some future date.
“It would be impolite of me to talk about any final versions now. There are none,” Putin said in Kyrgyzstan, ahead of scheduled talks with US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff in Moscow next week.
