Iran fired missiles at a US air base in Qatar after vowing to respond “proportionately and decisively” to Donald Trump’s weekend strikes. Qatar said the barrage at Al Udeid base—the biggest such American facility in the Middle East—was intercepted. Shortly before the attack, Qatar suspended flights over its busy airspace, effectively halting its namesake airline’s operations and forcing multiple carriers’ flights out of position.
