The president met with his security team, fueling speculation that the US may join Israel's attack on Iran. Satellite images suggest Israeli strikes damaged Iran’s underground uranium-enrichment facilities at Natanz. Israel’s defense minister said the country plans to attack “very significant targets” in Tehran. Investors were jittery: US stocks fell, oil rose and the dollar climbed the most in a month.
