You’d be forgiven if you thought that this week’s meeting of Federal Reserve policymakers is a non-event. After all, Fed Chair Jerome Powell and his colleagues are universally expected to announce tomorrow that they opted to hold interest rates unchanged for the sixth straight meeting.
