Regulating artificial intelligence will be “one of the hardest tasks that Congress has ever faced,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said this week. Given Congress’s history of not-regulating tech, as well as the complexity and speedy pace of AI development, that’s probably a huge understatement.
