Boris Johnson rose to power in the UK on the back of his successful campaign to pull Britain out of the European Union. Since entering Downing Street, he has pledged to revive large parts of the country left behind during the era of globalization.
The so-called “levelling up” agenda aims to deliver tangible benefits by 2030, especially for working class voters who abandoned the opposition Labour party to hand Johnson his party’s biggest majority since the 1980s.
