Sonos’ New Play Speaker Shows the Company is Finally Back on Track
Sonos Inc. is back doing what it does best: putting out high-quality Wi-Fi speakers that look nice, sound good and work best together as a system.
The company, which took a long break from consumer hardware announcements after a botched software update upended its business, recently unveiled its first major new products in over a year: the $299 Sonos Play portable speaker and the $189 Era 100 SL, which hits a lower price by forgoing built-in microphones.
