Epstein Steered Wexner Funds to Arts School Where He Allegedly Groomed a Child

A $185,000 donation from Wexner’s Foundation was used to build a log cabin at Michigan’s Interlochen Center for the Arts. The property was known as the Epstein Lodge.

In 1993, billionaire Leslie Wexner’s charitable foundation donated $185,000 to Interlochen Center for the Arts. The money was used to build a cedar log cabin on the school’s sprawling campus in northern Michigan, intended to bring in rental income to fund scholarships.

But Wexner’s name wasn’t publicly attached to the initiative. Instead, the property was known as the Jeffrey E. Epstein Scholarship Lodge. Epstein, then Wexner’s money manager, was invited to stay at the cabin, giving him and Ghislaine Maxwell access to a campus where authorities allege the pair targeted a summer camper for sexual abuse.
