Vivek Ramaswamy Is Running to Be Trump’s ‘Some Form of Something’
The candidate’s chances for winning the GOP nomination may be slim, but no one on the debate stage has drafted off the former president so successfully—or said such wild things.

The slogans appeared in a stylized typeface over a sepia background, as if printed on colonial-era handbills: “GOD is REAL,” “THERE are TWO GENDERS” and “THE REVOLUTION BEGINS TOMORROW.” They were projected on a 40-foot screen that sat over a stage just outside the arena where the Milwaukee Bucks play.
It was the night before the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle. Vivek Ramaswamy seemed to be enjoying himself. “How you feeling?” he asked, speaking into a handheld wireless microphone as he hopped onto the stage.
