US natural gas futures ended at the highest in three weeks, reversing earlier losses, as producers rein in output in response to mild weather and above-average inventory levels.

The front-month contract traded at a loss midday as falling oil prices triggered financial outflows from baskets of energy products that include US gas. Continued lower feedgas to the Cameron LNG terminal in Louisiana, which began planned maintenance, also put a lid on prices.
