Amundi to Run Landmark $3.5 Billion EU Public-Private Bond Fund

Amundi SA has been chosen by the European Union to run a landmark bond fund that will seek to combine private and public capital to be allocated toward development goals in emerging markets.

The Global Green Bond Initiative fund, designed as a blended-finance vehicle targeting climate and environmental projects, is aiming for as much as €3 billion ($3.5 billion), Amundi — Europe’s biggest asset manager — said on Friday.
