Bulgaria’s acting chief prosecutor resigned two days after former president, Rumen Radev, scored the most decisive election win this century and pledged to root out graft.

Borislav Sarafov said he’d step down on Wednesday, leaving a role that granted him almost full control over key investigations and influence over the career development of magistrates in the Balkan nation.
