Angola on Track for $400 Million Debt-for-Education Swap by June
Angola plans to conclude a debt-for-education swap of roughly $400 million by June, according to Finance Minister Vera Daves de Sousa.
Africa’s third-biggest oil producer got approval for guarantees from the World Bank and engaged a bank that will execute the transaction, Daves de Sousa said in an interview on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank spring meetings in Washington. She declined to name the lender.
