UK Government Looks at Delinking Gas and Electricity Prices

Reeves told reporters in Washington that efforts are being made to shield British households from another surge in inflation driven by energy prices. The chancellor said she and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband are hoping to detail the plans in the coming days, with a person familiar with the situation saying it’s likely to arrive next week.
