Two Goldman Sachs Investment Bankers to Depart, Adding to String of Exits in Asia

Two more senior bankers plan to leave Goldman Sachs Group Inc. after seven years in the firm’s Asia business, adding to a string of recent exits amid robust dealmaking activity in the region, according to people familiar with the matter.

Dawei Huang, co-head of China technology, media, and telecommunications, plans to leave the banking industry and will ultimately join a technology company, the people said, asking not to be identified because the matter is not public. Samuel Thong, who helps lead health-care investment banking for Asia excluding Japan, is also set to depart, the people said.
