Turkey is preparing to host talks later this week about creating a regional security platform with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and possibly Egypt, according to officials familiar with the matter.

The foreign ministers of all three countries are invited to talks on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which begins on Friday, according to Turkish officials, who requested anonymity to discuss private deliberations. It would be the third such meeting in the past month, after previous discussions on the topic in Riyadh and Islamabad, the officials said.
