Slovakia said it’s prepared to obstruct the European Union’s latest Russia sanctions, which the bloc’s foreign ministers are set to discuss next week.

Bratislava’s Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar said on Thursday his country will block the sanctions unless it receives “transparent and verifiable” signals from Kyiv that oil flows through a damaged pipeline across Ukrainian territory will resume.
