Nestlé Shareholders Hit Out at Chairman, CEO Over Turmoil

Nestlé SA faced investors after a bruising year in which it fired its chief executive officer over an undisclosed office romance and dealt with the biggest product recall in the Swiss food maker’s history.

Chairman Pablo Isla and CEO Philipp Navratil bore the brunt of shareholders’ frustration at Nestlé’s annual general meeting in Lausanne on Thursday. Months into their tenure they had to pull infant formula from shelves in more than 60 countries after finding a toxin in some products.
