Millennium, Point72 and Jain Post Gains After US-Iran Ceasefire

Hedge funds had a strong recovery in early April, recouping losses from the previous month as a temporary ceasefire between the US and Iran fueled optimism that the conflict could end soon.

Point72 Asset Management advanced 2.4% this month through April 9, people familiar with the matter said, bringing year-to-date gains to 6.3%. Millennium Management added 2.3% through April 10, bringing gains for the year to 3.2%, other people said, all asking not to be identified discussing private matters.
