IMF to Resume Formal Engagement With Venezuelan Government

The International Monetary Fund will resume formal contact with Venezuela, potentially paving the way for the acting administration of Delcy Rodriguez to regain access to the lender’s financing.

A majority of IMF members backed the resumption of contact in a survey gauging the members’ relations with Venezuela’s government, the fund said in a statement.
