EDP SA has paused three US offshore wind projects due to limited policy visibility under the Trump administration, underscoring how regulatory uncertainty is weighing on renewable energy investment decisions.

The projects — located in Massachusetts, New York and California — have been scaled back to minimum activity levels, including reductions in staffing to maintain essential work, according to Chief Executive Officer Miguel Stilwell d’Andrade.
