Benin Sees IMF Agreement as Top Priority For New Government

“Another IMF program will be a priority for the new government,” said Aristide Medenou, the director-general of the economy in the finance ministry who’s leading the West African nation’s delegation to the IMF Spring Meetings in Washington. “We are seeking another program because it has always been in our plan to work with the IMF.”
