Barclays Pushing Ahead With Saudi Bank License Effort, CEO Says

Barclays Plc is pushing ahead with its plan to obtain a banking license in Saudi Arabia, its chief executive officer said on Thursday.

The bank aims to open a regional headquarters in the country later this year, despite the ongoing war in Iran, CS Venkatakrishnan said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
