Bank of Ireland Group Plc is proposing delisting from the London Stock Exchange as it looks to control costs, citing low trading in its shares on the exchange.

Trading volume the London listed shares shares has been “negligible” relative to its Dublin line, the company said in a statement on Thursday. “The cost of maintaining the LSE listing is no longer in the interests of the company and its shareholders as a whole,” it said.
