Bank of England to Add AI Risks Into Stress Tests, Lawmakers Say

The Bank of England will include risks from artificial intelligence as part of its stress tests on the financial system.

The central bank is also working with international counterparts to better understand how AI agents trading in financial markets could “herd” into positions and amplify stress, the Treasury Select Committee said in a Thursday report.
