Johnson Controls International Plc is weighing options including a potential sale of two businesses in its security division that together could be worth up to $4.5 billion, according to people familiar with the situation.

JCI is working with financial advisers to solicit interest for its Access Control and Intrusion Detection units, the people said, asking not to be identified because the details are private. While the industrial conglomerate will attempt to sell them separately, it could offload them to a single buyer, the people added.
