The NSE Nifty Smallcap 250 Index has clawed back declines of more than 10% since the conflict began. It jumped more than 2% on Wednesday as the US and Iran considered talks to end the war. Meanwhile, the main Nifty 50 Index is still about 4% away from recovering the lost ground.
