Greece Is Set to Reveal Yet More Outperformance on Budget Goals

Greece probably outperformed key fiscal metrics for 2025 by at least one percentage point of output, offering leeway for aid to voters facing a souring economy, people familiar with the matter said.

The primary budget surplus — a measure of revenue minus spending, excluding interest payments — will likely come in at around 4.8-4.9% of gross domestic product, according to the people, who asked to remain anonymous because final numbers aren’t yet confirmed.
