Equinor’s Danske Commodities Cuts 5% of Staff in Strategy Shift

Equinor’s Danske Commodities A/S has let go about 5% of its staff as part of a strategy shift to focus more on technology-based trading operations.

As many as 28 employees left the firm last month, the company said in an emailed statement, declining to provide further details. Both traders and other staff were affected, according to people familiar with the matter who asked not to be identified.
