Denmark Coalition Talks to Drag as Pressure Mounts Over US Risks

Government-formation talks in Denmark are expected to stretch for at least another month, even as simmering tensions with Donald Trump over Greenland are adding urgency to reach a deal.

Talks are still in the first phase more than three weeks after a general election that produced a fragmented parliament, with parties yet to determine which groups will move into detailed policy negotiations, according to Lars Lokke Rasmussen, leader of the Moderates who is in a kingmaker role after the vote.
