Macron, Starmer to Hold Hormuz Transit Summit in Paris on Friday

French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host a videoconference from Paris on Friday with countries willing to help restore free transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
The UK leader will travel to France’s capital for the meeting, aimed at bringing together nations not taking part in the Middle East conflict that are ready to join a multilateral, defensive mission once security conditions allow, according to a statement from the French presidency.
