A group of developing countries urged the International Monetary Fund to adapt its policy advice and lending toolkit to mitigate the global economic risks mounting during the US-Israeli war against Iran.

The Group of 24 members, which include some of the most populous nations in Africa, Asia and Latin America, said the IMF “must remain proactive and agile” as they contend with the fallout of the Iran war, it said in a statement on Tuesday at the fund’s Spring Meetings in Washington.
