Boeing Beats Airbus in Deliveries to Further Comeback Story

Boeing Co.’s newfound dominance of European rival Airbus SE extended into the first quarter, with the American manufacturer delivering 143 jets to add another chapter to what’s been called a “comeback story.”

The US planemaker handed over 114 737s and 15 787 Dreamliners, along with eight 777s and six 767s, to customers in January-March, the company said Tuesday. That’s a 10% increase from a year earlier and significantly more than the 114 jets Airbus delivered.
