Boeing Beats Airbus in Deliveries to Further Comeback Story

Photographer: David Ryder/BloombergBoeing Co.’s newfound dominance of European rival Airbus SE extended into the first quarter, with the American manufacturer delivering 143 jets to add another chapter to what’s been called a “comeback story.”
The US planemaker handed over 114 737s and 15 787 Dreamliners, along with eight 777s and six 767s, to customers in January-March, the company said Tuesday. That’s a 10% increase from a year earlier and significantly more than the 114 jets Airbus delivered.
