Turkey Calls for Middle East Security Pact in Wake of Iran War

“This pact is necessary so that countries can be assured of one another,” Fidan said in a televised interview with the state-run Anadolu news agency, without elaborating on which countries could be included. Defense cooperation between many regional states is already growing, he added.
