Drivers on Ireland’s busiest motorway still face delays even after a wave of fuel protest blockades deescalated over the weekend.

The main M50 motorway in Dublin is congested, according to Transport Infrastructure Ireland, with other routes around Dublin still disrupted. Full road closures remain in place in other parts of the country where truckers and farmers blocked off roads and fuel depots to demonstrate against the government’s energy support package.
