Election winner Peter Magyar vowed to work with central bank Governor Mihaly Varga, saying Hungary needs to focus on difficult financial and economic situation right now.

Any change at the top of the central bank would cause disruption that Hungary doesn’t need, Magyar told reporters in Budapest on Monday. The role of the bank is to focus on foreign exchange stability, he added.
