Reform UK Nigel Farage brushed aside questions about the financial affairs of a company owned by his deputy, Richard Tice, after the Sunday Times reported it failed to pay the correct amount of tax.

The newspaper said the real estate company, Quidnet REIT, did not pay a required 20% levy before channeling dividends to its founder Tice and his offshore trust, resulting in him receiving at least £91,000 ($122,130) in excess payments. However Tice argued the story hinged on a “technicality” and that the “correct amount of tax” was paid.
